Environment Canada has issued a yellow snowfall warning for Espanola, Killarney and Manitoulin Island.

The warning advises that "lake-enhanced snowfall" will bring up to 15 cm of snow to those areas between today and tomorrow morning.

"Lake enhanced snowfall may lead to locally higher amounts particularly if a heavy snow band remains over an area for a prolonged period of time," the warning states.

The snowy conditions will make traveling and walking difficult due to accumulating snow and visibility will be reduced at times.

"Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada. To report severe weather, send an email to [email protected] or post reports on X using #ONStorm."
