Charlie Marquardt led Sudbury with 10 points in the first quarter and the Five opened up the game, outscoring the Express 30-24 heading into the second quarter.

The second quarter produced a similar outcome, with the Sudbury Five outscoring the Express by a 27-22 margin in the quarter, heading into the dressing room for the halftime break with a 57-46 lead.

The third quarter was kinder to Windsor, as they outscored the Five by a 22-19 margin, with Khalil Gracey leading the Express with seven points in the quarter.

Windsor also held the slight advantage in the final quarter, winning it by a score of 23-21, but would fall just short, as the Sudbury Five came away with the victory by a score of 97-91.

The Sudbury Five continue their road trip on Saturday, January 17, with tipoff scheduled for 4 p.m.
