The Sudbury Cyclones head coach has been honoured with another award, this time for his ability to develop other coaches in Canada.

Not only did Giuseppe Politi win the 2025 League1 Championship Coach of the Year from League1 Ontario, in his role as a coach developer under the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) he was honoured with a Community NCCP Coach Developer award.

A release from the NCCP states that these awards recognize outstanding individuals who have “gone above and beyond” to inspire and develop NCCP coaches in their community.

“Giuseppe Politi is an invaluable resource and mentor for aspiring coaches,” said Peter Niedre, director of education partnerships, policy development and LTAD for the Coaching Association of Canada. “We are honoured to present Giuseppe Politi with a 2025 Community NCCP Coach Developer Award in recognition of the considerable time and energy he has invested into developing and educating NCCP coaches. His work has had an overwhelmingly positive impact on their sport community.”
