Find sustainable Christmas gifts of all kinds at the reDeck the Halls Holiday Market on Dec. 14 at the Northern Water Sports Centre.

Running from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. that day, visitors will find vintage pieces, repurposed goods, thrifted finds, and eco-conscious products from local vendors across Greater Sudbury.

“Hosted by reThink Green, the market highlights the growing shift toward circular, low-waste holiday shopping,” a press release about the event states.

Admission to the holiday market is by donation, with proceeds supporting reThink Green’s community sustainability programs.

“This market offers a simple, meaningful way to enjoy the holidays without adding to overconsumption,” says Daniel Cronin, chair of reThink Green’s board of directors. “It brings together sustainable shopping and community support in one place. We hope you find a vintage treasure or give new purpose to something that would have otherwise been headed to the landfill. Every purchase keeps valuable materials in circulation and strengthens reThink Green’s work in Sudbury.”

Vendor registration is still open, though spaces are limited. reThink Green welcomes business vendors, as well as individuals. Anyone looking to declutter, downsize, and earn a little money before the holidays is encouraged to register. All vendors keep 100 per cent of their sales.
