Ebenezer Scrooge is back and this time he is at Lasalle Secondary School.

The Drama Department at Lasalle Secondary School will proudly present “A Christmas Carol” based on the original story by Charles Dickens.

Public performances will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 17 and Thursday, Dec. 18 at 7:30 p.m. at the Lasalle Secondary School Black Box Theatre.

In this classic Christmas tale, Ebenezer Scrooge is visited by three ghosts who teach him that wealth is not measured by the amount of money one has but instead through the strength of the relationships with whom we share life's precious moments.

Along his journey, Scrooge also learns that it’s never too late to change the course of our life.

Tickets, at $5 for children and $10 for adults, are available at the door or through School Cash Online. Dec. 17 tickets are available here and Dec. 18 tickets here.

“We are thrilled to bring live theatre to members of the school and greater community,” said Lasalle Secondary School Principal Kristina Rivard Gobbo, in a press release.

“We invite everyone to join us for a fun-filled festive evening that will showcase our talented drama students under the direction of teacher Ashley Paige Fraser.”

Lasalle Secondary School is located at 1545 Kennedy St. in Sudbury.
