Glenworth Henry Wright, age 84, of Sudbury, Ontario, passed on December 29, 2025, after a long battle with kidney failure. He is survived by his wife Velta Powell Wright; his sons Mark Wright, Philip Wright (Christine), James Wright (Andrea); daughter Donna McIntosh, Denise Wright (Michael) and Stewart Fairwell (Lise) children of Velta Wright. Grandfather of Alexis, Dayna, Alex, Justin, Alisha, Racheal, Shannon, Kyle, Ryan, Mila, Austen, Aubrey and Alex and great grandchildren Winston, Ivy and Aria.
Born in Kingston, Jamaica in 1940 to John Sangster and Ellanora Wright and moved to Canada in 1970. He worked for INCO (Vale) since 1971 as a first-class electrician and retired in 2003 as a dedicated employee. Glen enjoyed using his skills as a handyman by upgrading and improving his home and was an experienced gardener.
A small commemorative family service for Glen will be held in late spring of 2026.
