With heavy hearts we share the passing of Denis Vachon surrounded by his family.
Son of the late Ernest Vachon and Helen (Mirka) Vachon. Beloved husband of Sandy of 41 years, father of Nicole (Curtis) Dane, Angela (Todd) Crane, and Richard (Tiffany) Vachon. Cherished Grandfather to Hannah, Reece, Ivy, Olive, and Chase. Brothers of Rick (Joanne predeceased) Vachon, Reg (Annette) Vachon, Greg (Tracy) Vachon, and Geoffrey (Leanne) Vachon. He will be missed by his many nieces and nephews.
Denis found joy in working in his garage and spending countless hours fishing on his boat, especially alongside his brothers. Moments that brought him great peace and joy.
In Denis’s memory, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation and would be greatly appreciated.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate nursing staff on 4 North at HSN, the dedicated staff in the Emergency Department, and Dr.L. Knight for her kindness and compassion throughout Denis’s illness.
To honour Denis’s wishes, no visitation or service will be held. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
