Nickel City Wind Ensemble and Nickel City Jazz Ensemble have teamed up for Toons and Tales on Oct. 26, a concert for families featuring music from Aladdin, The Muppet Show and more.
Besides the musical presentation, the event will also feature an instrument petting zoo where kids or anyone curious can talk to the musicians about their instruments.
“The main goal is to get people interested in learning how to play an instrument or engaging in the music community,” Rylin Martin from Nickel City Wind told Sudbury.com.
Toons and Tales will be held at Sudbury Theatre Centre on Oct. 26. Doors open at 12:30 p.m. The presentation begins at 1 p.m. Tickets are $20 for adults or $10 for seniors. Entry is free for children 12 and younger.
