Greater Sudbury Police is requesting help in finding a 41-year-old high-risk offender who is wanted for a breach of release order.
Michael Gould is currently before the courts for numerous violent, drug and property-related offences including possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking, assault with a weapon and break and enter, states a release from Greater Sudbury Police Service.
“He was released through the judicial process with several court-imposed conditions including house arrest which he has not been abiding by.”
Officers have made attempts to locate Gould, however, he has been evading police, said the release.
Police request the public’s assistance in locating Gould as part of the GSPS Community Safety and Well-being Plan, in which members of the Community Response Unit regularly conduct bail compliance checks on violent and high-risk offenders who are currently released on court-imposed conditions.
Anyone with information related to his whereabouts is asked to contact police at 705-675-9171 or Crime Stoppers at 705-222-8477.
