Warm weather? No problem! You can still go skating at the Gerry McCrory Countryside Sports Complex. File photo.

The weather is finally warming up, but for those who can't get enough of winter sports, the Gerry McCrory Countryside Sports Complex offers public skating and shinny hockey this spring and summer.

Public skating takes place at the arena from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Sundays. Shinny takes place from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m., also on Sundays.

These times are in effect from May 1 to Aug. 28 (exceptions July 10 and August 7).

Public skating fees are $4.75 for adults, $4.25 for youths and free for seniors over the age of 65. Family passes (maximum six people) are $11.

Shinny costs $8.25 per session.
