In loving memory of Candace Tiffney Naomi Shigwadja, 42 years of age who passed away on January 4, 2026, at her residence, Wikwemikong.
Loving mother of Lily (predeceased). Beloved daughter of Jean Trudeau and Kenneth Shigwadja (predeceased), and Step-dad Robert Wemigwans (predeceased). Cherished sister of Jenni-Lee, Dylan (Katie), Gabrielle (Austin) and Hannah. Goddaughter of Leonard, Simon (predeceased) and Rita Trudeau. Loving Aunt of Taylor, Grant, Braiden, Thomas, and Rielynn. Cherished by many Aunts and Uncles. Sadly missed by special friend Amy Manitowabi. She will be missed by her special canines, Milo and Murphy.
Candace was a fun-loving, sociable person who made friends wherever she went. She adored various type of music, often playing her harmonica for her dog, Murphy, who would sing along. She challenged anyone that came to her place for a game of chess. Adventurous and hardworking, she enjoyed quadding and learning about traditional cultures. Above all, she cherished her nieces and nephews.
Candace will join her beloved grandparents, Moses and Lina Trudeau, and Emerick and Margaret Shigwadja, all of whom predeceased her.
