In an error, Sudbury.com wrote that Monica Shawanda's charges had been upgraded to second-degree murder. Though confirmed at the court office, the information is incorrect and Shawanda is only facing accessory after the fact in relation to the death of a 21-year-old man found in a garage on Lansdowne Street in 2025.
