In Loving Memory of Charles “Chuck” J. Regan
(October 6, 1935 – January 13, 2026)
Dad passed away on January 13, 2026, at the Pembroke Regional Hospital, surrounded by the love of his family. He leaves behind a legacy of dedication, kindness, and quiet strength that will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Dad is survived by his beloved wife, Gail, and his children, Chucker (Debbie) of Sudbury, Sheila Pring (Rick), Brenda (Yvonne Kaminsky), Mona Hopkins (Wes), all of Petawawa, Tom (Leslie Needham) of Pembroke and Tim (Ginger) of Braeside. He was a proud and loving grandfather to Patrick (Hillary), Holly (Ryan), Jake (Krista), Matthew, Alex, Aiden, Avery, Ella, Tessa, Abigail, and his newly born great-granddaughter Clara Jane.
He was predeceased by his father, Thomas, and his mother Melvina.
Charles will be lovingly remembered by his siblings, Susan Mick (Vern) of Pickerel River, Ken (Monica pre-deceased) of Edmonton, and Dale of Barrie. He is predeceased by his brother Maurice, and his sisters Yvonne Lloyd (Bart pre-deceased) and Gale Duffy (Jim).
He will be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews, and fondly remembered by Geoffrey, Joel, and Jonathan who grew up enjoying a special closeness to Dad and the family.
Dad had a deep love for the outdoors and found true happiness fishing and hunting, where he enjoyed peace, friendship, and time well spent. In particular, he cherished the family times at the camp on Onaping Lake. As a lifelong hockey player and Maple Leaf fan, he was looking forward to another Stanley Cup win.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the Neville Funeral Home, 491 Isabella Street, Pembroke on Friday, January 23rd, 2026 from 4-6 p.m., followed by a Service in the Chapel at 6 p.m. Spring Interment of Ashes in St. John's Cemetery, Garson.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to all those who have offered support, prayers, and condolences during this difficult time. Thank you to the doctors, nurses, and support staff at the Shalom wing of Marianhill and at the Pembroke Regional Hospital. We are forever grateful.
