Our beloved father Raymond Quesnel passed away peacefully on January 11, 2026, surrounded by his children and grandchildren. Though his passing came quickly, his final moments were gentle, calm, and filled with love, just as he lived his life.
Beloved husband of the late Hélène Quesnel (née Chabot) (predeceased 2003).
He leaves behind his loving children: Jay (Christine), Dan (Karen), Christiane (Paul) and his cherished grandchildren: Nicholas, Jessica (Marco), Melissa; Cody (Caitlyn), Emily (Aidan), Riley, Adrianna, William; Isabelle, Éllie and Mérik as well as his great-grandchildren: Brinley, Scottie, Sonny; Wyatt, Myles, Alaina and Beau, each of whom held a very special place in his heart.
He was predeceased by his parents, Arthur and Edmée, and his brothers, Arthur (Blandine) and Paul (late Bonnie) and his brother-in-law, Gérard (Jerry) Chabot (Élizabeth) whom he carried with him in memory and love throughout his life.
He was, above all else, a family man. He adored being surrounded by family and friends, treasuring every visit or trip, big or small, especially those involving his grandchildren.
Ray will be lovingly remembered by cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends.
We will receive family and friends at the Cooperative Funeral Home, 222 Lasalle Blvd., Sudbury, on Friday, January 16, 2026 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at Ste-Marguerite d’Youville Church, Val Thérèse.
