A pot store and the local Legion were targeted by thieves in Espanola last week.
The Manitoulin OPP say they responded to an alarm call at the High Life Cannabis Store in Espanola at around 4 a.m. Monday, Oct. 27. Police determined that a break and enter had occurred, and several items were suspected to be stolen.
The OPP received a second call at around 8:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 27 reporting a break and enter at the Espanola Legion, where an unknown individual broke into the building and stole several items.
Police believe these two break and enter occurrences to be related, and the investigation remains ongoing. The OPP are asking for the public’s assistance with their investigation.
