Police release photos of a suspect in Clemow Avenue shooting incident

Person known as 'W' or 'Felix' is one of three individuals believed to be involved in June 13th shooting incident in Sudbury along with a 14-year-old and a 19-year-old 

Greater Sudbury Police Service (GSPS) has released photographs of an individual known as “W’ or “Felix” believed to be involved in the shooting incident on Clemow Avenue earlier this month. Police also revealed that a 14-year old was arrested and charged Friday in connection with the murder. 

That's when police responded to a weapons complaint on June 13 to find two individuals who had been shot and required medical attention. As police and paramedics responded, a 40-year-old woman and a 39-year-old man were found at the scene, treated and rushed to hospital, said a police news release. 

Police said the woman died later that day. 

With respect to the release of the photos of the suspect, police are asking that anyone having information related to this individual’s identity or whereabouts is asked to contact Greater Sudbury Police at 705-675-9171 extension 2320, said the release.

GSPS said the person in the photographs is described as being between 5’10” – 6’2” tall. It is believed that the individual sustained an injury to his right hand during the incident. It is also believed that this individual may live in Southern Ontario. He is believed to be armed and dangerous, said the police news release. 

Further, as a result of the investigation and with the assistance of Peel Regional Police, officers located and arrested a 14-year-old youth in Peel Region on June 27, 2025 in relation to this matter.

The youth has been charged with the following offences under the Criminal Code of Canada;

• First Degree Murder

• Attempt Murder with Firearm

• Weapons Dangerous

• Unlawful Possession of a Firearm

• Use Firearm in the Commission of Offence

• Pointing a Firearm

• Carry Concealed Weapon

• Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession

• Careless Use of a Firearm

As per the Youth Criminal Justice Act (YCJA), no further information related to the youth’s identity can be provided. The youth was to attend Bail Court today, June 27, 2025, to answer to the charges, said police.

In an earlier news release, GSPS said another individual was apprehended in connection with the shooting. 

Around 6:30 p.m. on June 13, 2025, members of the GSPS Emergency Response Unit (ERU) arrested 19-year- old, Braidon Jordan on Barrydowne Road in Sudbury.

Upon searching the individual incident to arrest, officers located a loaded handgun and 30.5 grams of cocaine with an estimated street value of $3,050.

Braidon Jordan has been charged with the following offences under the Criminal Code of Canada and the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA):

• Second Degree Murder

• Attempt Murder with a Firearm

• Breach of Firearms Prohibition x3

• Break and Enter - Commit Indictable Offence

• Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose

• Possession of a Firearm Knowing it was Obtained Through the Commission of a Crime

• Unlawful Possession of a Firearm

• Use Firearm in Commission of an Offence

• Pointing a Firearm

• Carry Concealed Weapon

• Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of Firearm

• Adult Possession of a Prohibited or Restricted Firearm

• Careless Use of a Firearm

• Possession of Property Obtained by Crime

• Breach of Probation

• Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking to wit Cocaine

Braidon Jordan appeared in Weekend and Statutory Holiday (WASH) Court on Saturday, June 14, 2025,

to answer to the charges and has since been remanded into custody, said the news release.
