Overtime Sports Bar and Grill will officially open its newest and largest location on Thursday, January 15, 2026, at 1051 Kingsway in Sudbury. Locally owned and operated by Attilio Langella and John Law, the new venue expands the Overtime brand with a significantly upgraded space designed to become the city’s go to destination for major sporting events and community gatherings.

The new Kingsway location occupies a renovated 7,500 square foot space, previously home to King Buffet, marking a major expansion from the brand’s former 5,000 square foot Notre Dame Avenue footprint. The upgraded venue features massive high definition screens throughout, ensuring fans never miss a moment of major games, pay per view events, or championship matchups.

“We are going from 5,000 square feet on Notre Dame Avenue to 7,500 square feet and have a bigger stage for performers, a golf simulator, four pool tables and space for old video game machines,” said Attilio Langella, co owner of Overtime Sports Bar and Grill. “There will be online trivia and pool leagues, too. We’ve even blasted out rock to make 65 more parking spots and are going through the permit process to hopefully add a double decker patio in the spring.”

Designed with sports fans in mind, the new location introduces an expanded arcade area, interactive games, and a high energy atmosphere built for watching, celebrating, and staying long after the final whistle. With the Super Bowl approaching, the opening comes at a perfect time for fans looking for a dedicated space to experience major sporting events together.

Overtime Sports Bar and Grill aims to be more than just a place to watch the game. By aligning with local teams such as the Sudbury Wolves and the Sudbury Five, the owners hope to create a space where longtime patrons and first time guests can come together, build traditions, and create lasting memories around great food, sports, and people.

The Kingsway location joins two other Overtime Sports Bar and Grill locations serving Northern Ontario, including Val Caron and Chelmsford. Together, the locally owned brand continues to grow while staying rooted in the communities it serves.
