Sexual assault and incest were among the charges laid following a report of sexual offences in Webbwood on Oct. 19.
Following an investigation by the Espanola Ontario Provincial Police, a 35-year-old person (OPP do not release genders of those arrested) from Fenelon Falls was arrested and charged with sexual assault and incest, as well as failure to comply with an undertaking.
The accused was held in custody for a bail hearing and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Espanola at a later date.
The OPP will not be releasing the name of the accused in order to protect the identity of the victim.
