Passed away suddenly in Sudbury. Loving mother of Jay’R, Joshua, and Sheila. Beloved daughter of Melanie Recollet-Simon (Kirk Simon, predeceased) and Fredrick Nahwegahbow (predeceased). Cherished granddaughter to Rhonda Recollet (predeceased) and John Recollet, and Norma Assinwai (predeceased) and Joseph Nahwegahbow. Loving sister of Florence Recollet, Skyler Nahwegahbow (Samantha), Shaun Recollet, Matthew Recollet, Alexandrea Wemigwans (Rene), Shantle Wemigwans (predeceased), Zachary Shawana, and Dakota Wemigwans. Much loved auntie to Taylor, Aaron (Katryna), Drake, Isaiah, Tahliah, Miranda, Francine, Olivia, Maria, Ethan, Carter, Logan, Paris, Mariah, Zayden, and great-auntie to Treyton. Special godchild to Doreen Trudeau and Leonard Neganegijig. Resting at St. Ignatius Church Buzwah. Friends may call after 2:00pm on Saturday January 17th, 2026. Funeral Mass in Holy Cross Mission Wikwemikong on Monday January 19th, 2026, at 11:00am. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium.
