The family of Deborah Moxam (Mousseau) announces with great sorrow her tragic passing on Jan. 6, 2026. Left to grieve her loss most are her children and grandson/best friend: Donalda (son Wade), at home; Daniel (wife Isabelle), of Sudbury; and Damara, at home.
She was predeceased by her loving husband, Wade Moxam, whom she grieved deeply. The family finds some solace in knowing she has been reunited with her one true love. Her grandson, Wade, became the light of her life and best friend in the time since Deborah became a widow.
Deborah was also predeceased by her parents, John and Donalda Mousseau; brothers Norman and Donald; in-laws Oliver and Natalie Moxam; and numerous aunts and uncles on all sides of the family.
She is survived by her sister, Elizabeth Mousseau; and sisters-in-law Patricia DisPasquale (Larry), of Fort McMurray, Alta.; Brenda Johnson (Jim), of Worthington; Valerie Salo (Ken), of Naughton; and Tania Swanson (Todd), of Worthington. She is also survived by her aunt Norma Butkevich (Joe predeceased), of North Bay; and aunt Lorrie MacDonald (John predeceased), of Lively; as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
Per Deborah’s wishes, cremation will take place, and her children will hold a celebration of life when Damara has sufficiently recovered from her injuries to be part of it. Details will be published at a future time. Deborah will be laid to rest with her love, Wade, in the Mousseau family plot at St. Stanislaus Cemetery.
A GoFundMe has been set up to assist her children as they deal with the aftermath of this tragedy. Donations can be made at https://www.gofundme.com/f/deborah-moxam or by reaching out to the family directly.
