Inco Limited and United SteelworkersÂ? Local 6500 reached a tentative deal today that could end the 13-week old strike.

Now in its seventh week, the Steelworkersandapos; strike at Inco Ltd. is becoming a minefield of pent up anger and frustration. Tuesday morning Greater Sudbury Police were called to the residence of an Inco manager.

Inco Ltd. will webcast, on a live, listen-only basis, its conference call covering its second quarter 2003 financial and operating results. This webcast will be through a separate third party webcasting service, Canada NewsWire Ltd.
