(1955 – 2026)
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Peter Jackson announces his passing on January 8, 2026, at the age of 70 years.
Loving husband of Linda Jackson (née Guillemette). Dear father of Tiffany Jackson (Rob) and Corey Jackson. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Madison Whiting (Ian), Cayleigh Brulé, Aaliyah Jackson, Kendra Whiting and his great-grandson Jackson Broderick. Survived by his brothers Joseph Jackson, Allen Jackson (Johanne) and Laurie Jackson (late Sandra). Predeceased by his brother Paul Jackson and his sisters Audrey Stewart and Pauline Jackson. He will also be remembered by his many nieces and nephews.
Peter was a man defined by a tireless work ethic and unwavering devotion to his family. He spent the majority of his professional life as a respected salesperson in the mining industry, where his dedication and integrity earned him the regard of colleagues and clients alike.
A true outdoorsman, Peter found great peace and joy in hunting, a passion he pursued throughout his life. While he took pride in a career well-spent and a job well done, his greatest source of pride was always his family. He shared 52 years of amazing memories with the love of his life, Linda, building a foundation of love that extended through every generation. He was a doting grandfather who cherished every moment spent with his grandchildren. This past year, Peter was overjoyed to embrace a new chapter as a great-grandfather—a title he wore with immense honour.
Known for his generous spirit and reliability, he was counted on in lending a helping hand to anyone in need. He was a man of strong faith and a caring, active member of the Jehovah’s Witness community for 36 years. He leaves behind a legacy of hard work, kindness, and deep-rooted love.
