To the Editor November 17, 2022 A well-known Sudbury businessman, Mervin “Bud” Burke, passed away in Ottawa, ON on November 16, 2022 at the age of 92 (July 12, 1930).

May 5, 1939 – November 16,2021 On the afternoon of November 16, 2021, after a brief illness at the age of 82, God called on our mother.

Remembering, with love and a smile, my Mom and best friend. To a wonderful mother whose kindness, wisdom and love brightened my life. In some small way every day, memories of you come my way. Though absent, I always feel you near.

January 7, 1935 - November 2, 2021 When the day of our homecoming puts an end to our exile, frees us from the bonds of the world, and restores us to paradise and to a kingdom, we should welcome it.

10 years already. Not a day goes by that you are not in our thoughts. You have missed so much, especially your grandchildren, who were such a joy to you. We see you in them, and know you are forever with us all.

January 2, 1948 - October 20, 2021 In memory of a husband, a father, and grandfather. A year ago, mother (Anna) lost her best friend. Her husband of more than 50 years.

Baba, It’s been 7 years since you passed and not a day goes by that we don’t miss you! I visit you and Jaja every week and the pain still hurts. We love you, miss you and know you are always looking down on us and protecting us.
