Mom was truly a special person. She was our rock. She was kind, loving and always so generous and available to everyone. She left a beautiful impression on everyone, and she will be remembered with great affection.
A longtime resident of Dowling, she was an active and cherished member of her community. As a young woman, she loved bowling and excelled at it. She participated in several sports including baseball and hockey. Unlike her bowling skills, she earned a trophy for worst baseball player. She loved playing bingo and going to the casino. She worked many years as a cook in several establishments and retired as custodian in schools.
She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her. Our family would like to thank Dr. Trottier who took exceptional care of her.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to the compassionate staff at Maison McCulloch Hospice for their exceptional care, kindness and support ensuring mom's comfort during her time there. Special thanks to Max, Roxanne, Claudette just to name a few that made her short stay there feel like home.
