In loving memory of Daniel Gaiashk, 53 years of age who passed away on January 12th, 2026, at his residence in Kaboni.
He was a loving father to Kristen Shigwadja, Lance Gaiashk and Dylan Osawamick. Beloved son to James Gaiashk (predeceased) and Mary Gaiashk (Aibens). A great brother to Doreena (Russell), Laurie, and Mary Agnes (Leiland). He was the favourite uncle to Jolene (predeceased), Nicole, Roxanne, Nicholas, Preston and Heaven. Awesome great uncle to Madison, Leighton, Rory, Lillith, Adaline, Jasper, Kane and Lexington. Most of all his loving dog Colten. Special friend to Jerrold Webkamigad.
Daniel was a devoted family man who cherished his children and family. He also found great joy with his four-legged fur babies. He also a passion for travel especially visiting Traverse City for cherry picking.
Daniel was jack of all trades from tree planting to working in the mines. He also worked in housing, he never shied away from hard work. Another thing Daniel enjoyed was going to horse pulls and helping his friend, but his all-times favourite was watching the Toronto Maple Leaf’s.
Visitation will take place Thursday January 15th, 2026, from 1pm to Saturday January 17th at 11am at St. Anthony Daniel Church in Kaboni. Funeral Mass will take place Saturday January 17th, 2026, at 11am at the St. Anthony Daniel Church in Kaboni. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium.
In lieu of flowering donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
