It is with heavy hearts that the family announces his passing in Sudbury, on Monday, January 5, 2026 at the age of 82 years.
Son of the late Hervé and late Christine (née Tardif) Dumont. Cherished brother of the late Monette Gagné (Victor). Beloved uncle of Martin Larocque, Manon Macnamara (Peter) and Yvon Gagné. Great-uncle of Jesse Larocque and Kevin Macnamara (Emily Easter) and great-great-uncle of Joseph Easter and Timothy Macnamara. He will be greatly missed by all relatives and friends. In keeping with his wishes there will be no visitation.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 9, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at Ste-Anne-des-Pins Church, Sudbury. In lieu of flowers, masses payable to Ste-Anne-des-Pins Church would be greatly appreciated. www.cooperativefuneralhome.ca

Fils de feu Hervé et feue Christine (née Tardif) Dumont. Cher frère de feue Monette Gagné (Victor). Oncle bien-aimé de Martin Larocque, Manon Macnamara (Peter) et Yvon Gagné. Grand-oncle de Jesse Larocque et Kevin Macnamara (Emily Easter) et arrière-grand-oncle de Joseph Easter et Timothy Macnamara. Il manquera beaucoup à tous ses proches et amis. Conformément à ses souhaits, il n'y aura pas de visite.
Une messe funéraire aura lieu le vendredi 9 janvier 2026 à 10 h à l'église Ste-Anne-des-Pins, à Sudbury. Au lieu de fleurs, des messes à l'église Sainte-Anne-des-Pins seraient grandement appréciées. www.cooperativefuneralhome.ca
