The family announces with great sadness her death on January 15th, 2025, in Sudbury, at the age of 72 years.
She was a proud and loving mother to her two daughters, Jamie Damboise and Robin O’Bonsawin (Claude), and was the most wonderful Gramma to her beloved granddaughters, Kalina and Hannah, who will miss her dearly. Especially her truck rides to go strawberry picking and French fry runs.
Loving sweetheart of 32 years to Peter Adam (predeceased).
Beloved daughter of Helen and Robert Mills (both predeceased) and stepdaughter of William “Rolly” Campbell (predeceased).
Dear sister of “favourite sister” Kathaleen “Kathy” (Wayne).
Sister of four brothers, Robert “Bob”, (predeceased), William “Bill”, (predeceased), Brian (predeceased), and Patrick “P.J.”
Aunt Peg was a favourite among many nieces and nephews.
Peggy worked for Canada Post for 31 years, loved her flowers, jigsaw puzzles, her tea, and picking blueberries in the summer. Music was a strong part of her life, often accompanied by her many crazy dance moves.
The family would like to thank Dr. Ratner and the wonderful team of nurses on the 9th floor (dialysis unit) at HSN for the outstanding care that our mom received. We know Peggy kept you on your toes with her spunky attitude, funny hats, and sparkling wit. Special thanks to Diane, her tea friend, for her kindness and companionship.
As per her request, there will be no funeral visitation or service.
Rest in peace Mom. We love you xo
