Leaders, human resources professionals, community organizations and changemakers are invited to learn how to create accessible, inclusive and resilient workplaces during the upcoming EDGE+ conference in Sudbury.
Hosted by Spark Employment Services, the two-day event will take place Jan. 20-21 at Sudbury’s Radisson Hotel.
Themed ‘Accessibility and Inclusivity in the Workplace,’ the event will feature expert-led panels, hands-on workshops, interactive sessions, and a keynote address, with the speaker to be announced.
Spark said in a release, “Attendees will walk away with practical tools, resources, and connections to create lasting impact within their organizations.”
“EDGE+ is more than a conference; it’s a movement to empower employers, professionals, and organizations to embed inclusion into the very foundation of their workplaces,” Chantal Makela, CEO of Spark Employment Services, said in a Dec. 11 news release.
“We’re excited to offer this opportunity free of charge to ensure accessibility for everyone who wants to participate.”
The event is free to attend and includes lunch and refreshments, but registration is required.
In operation since 1986, Spark Employment Services was launched to assist out-of-work miners transition to other employment opportunities.
