Sudbury Indie Cinema is “delighted” to bring a strong and varied slate for November, while holding gems from October.
The region’s only arthouse cinema shared its November calendar with Sudbury.com and it is jam-packed with films and events for cinephiles to enjoy.
“American auteur Richard Linklater has two features in release this month, ‘Blue Moon’ and ‘Nouvelle Vague’ we are thrilled to present in unison,” the Indie said. “Also, Canada’s own Sofia Bohdanowicz with her latest ‘Measures for a Funeral’. And speaking of Canadian talent, if Theodore Pellerin in ‘Lurker’ had you mesmerized, wait for him in ‘Nino’ which doesn’t open in Quebec till January, so SHHH don’t let your Montreal friends know we got this Cannes winner first at The Indie.”
Speaking of Cannes, actor-turned-director Harris Dickinson (“Triangle of Sadness”) is back with the powerful “Urchin”.
“Looking for the perfect antidote to the times? Escape into a 2025 version of ‘Kiss of the Spider Woman’. See you here Sudbury!”
