YES Theatre is closing out the 2025 season with something for the whole family. Step into the heartwarming world of "Annie: The Musical," where hope and determination shine bright.

The show opened for preview night Nov. 20 and runs until Dec. 21.

The cast of “Annie” consists of 21 actors, including 16 local youth alongside renowned Canadian performer Linda Kash (whom you might recognize for her role as the Philadelphia Cream Cheese angel for 26 years) as Miss Hannigan, Jake Deeth as Daddy Warbucks, ER Simbagoye as Grace, and Haui (Howard J. Davis) and April Perrin as the dynamic duo of Rooster and Lilly.

At the helm of the iconic and celebrated Canadian theatre director, Peter Hinton-Davis, this will be an “Annie” you will forever remember.

“I am thrilled to direct ‘Annie’ and be a part of the movement that is YES Theatre,” said Hinton-Davis.

“It fulfills a life-long dream to re-imagine this well-known piece of Broadway repertoire in a muscular, exuberant and surprising new way.

“‘Annie’ invites the question, ‘what are musicals for?’ Do they help us escape our world and its problems, or do they in some way give us guides to encounter our troubles and take them on? I am inspired by YES and its own optimistic call to join in. On some level, we are all orphans brought into this world and challenge society to uplift us all.”

Follow the adventures of “Annie,” an optimistic orphan with a big heart, as she dreams of a better life beyond the orphanage.

With unforgettable songs like "Tomorrow" and "It's the Hard Knock Life," this classic musical delivers joy, laughter, and inspiration.

Join “Annie” on her journey to find family and happiness in this enchanting, feel-good show that's perfect for all ages.

“Annie” is directed by Peter Hinton-Davis and choreographed by Cameron Carver. Musical

Direction is by Benjamin Kerse with sound design by Aaron Hanna, lighting design by Frank Donato, set design by Anahita Dehbonehie and costume design by Niloufar Ziaee.
