We are seeking a valuable instructor for the Holistic Models in ECE (AEC414) course in the Early Childhood Education Anishinaabemowin program.

Program Description:

The Early Childhood Education Anishinaabemowin (ECEA) Program is a highly specialized Anishinaabe immersion program designed to train individuals who aspire to work in early childhood Anishinaabemowin Immersion settings. Anishinaabe-aadiziwin (worldview) and cultural perspective are at the heart of all our programs.

AEC414 – Holistic Models in ECE:

In this 3-credit, 42-hour course, students will investigate various curriculum models, including the First Nations Holistic Lifelong Learning model, which represents the link between lifelong learning and
community well-being. The framework can be used for measuring success in early
childhood education for First Nations, Metis and Inuit Peoples.

Qualifications:

- This opportunity is designated for Indigenous applicants.
- Registered Early Childhood Educator.
- Administration experience.
- Instructors of various education and training are also invited to apply for courses congruent with their field of expertise.
- Instructors should have a knowledge and understanding of teaching in an online/remote environment using multiple online resources.

Course Start Date: January 22, 2026
Hourly Rate: $90.00 per hour
